oh my goodness!! thank you for this! as someone who is neurodivergent and still learning new ways of regulating myself, this is so helpful!!! i’ll be checking out old navy for some comfy clothes for the future. i also have this magnetic ball thingy my gf got me, it works like putty but doesn’t give me the overwhelming sticky feeling.
I love this so much!! I'm neurodivergent and use so many of these, so I'm happy for extra ideas! I actually got a wacky track after you mentioned it in a video and it kept me from annoying my boyfriend while he was driving us through SF. I had something to mess with instead of constantly panic-grabbing the door handle haha! Hope you're having a nice day <3
I love my nee doh! I know they’re most accessible on Amazon, but I’ve seen them a lot in museum gift shops. My experience has been similar (though I’m not diagnosed since the waitlist is almost a year) and it’s been easier to give myself grace and prioritize my needs. It’s also helped a ton having in-laws who get it (my sister and mother in law are autistic) so my wife was already familiar with things that might help. I also like Mentos for when I need something minty and chewy, but know I won’t have a good place to spit out my gum later on.
